Solid oxide fuel cell and electrolysis technologies provide many opportunities. Some products are already on the market and more are on the way. Typically, applications are considered for:

• The stationary sector, for example combined heat and power production from smaller (like family houses) to larger (like office buildings or supermarkets) units
• The mobile applications acting as range extenders for electrical vehicles or auxiliary power units to provide electricity to larger vehicles
• Producing clean power in remote places
• Balancing fluctuating power on the larger scale
• Providing green hydrogen to many sectors like steel industry or transport
• Many more.
